Monteverdi's 'Come dolci signor' has to be the sexiest exchange in the history of opera
Hard to believe that Monteverdi wrote this for some of the most ruthless and scheming of characters.... Nerone and Poppea... but this scene from 'The Coronation of Poppea' has been on repeat on my Ipod for months. Beautiful, sensual and seriously erotic!
